This is the first commercial release of this hardly known Portuguese Rocker, Joaquim Costa. This is his lost record, never released commercially before. Only two copies of a 78 RPM were made for promotion in 1959. One of them burned in a fire at the labels office and NOW we have mastered the only remaining copy. Joaquim Costa's influences are first HASIL HADKINS recordings, CARL PERKINS and JACK STARR.He started to sing in the late 50's, listening to Jukebox records and learning the lyrics from soundtracks of movies, like the ROCK ROCK ROCK, or THE WILD ONE with Marlon Brando. These are the first ever Rock'n'roll recording made in Portugal and the only record of this type from the 1950s.RIP (1935-2008)
